The doctor believes that he can no longer help me and recommends that: 'To stop fighting for recovery and recommends that I talk to a Romanian-speaking psychologist who can convince me to accept the situation as it is'. Currently: 1. Hypertension is relatively under control with medication. However, there are times when I have imbalances, when I make sudden movements I lose my balance. Any movement must be done slowly to prevent falling.. 2. Locomotor functions Problems and recovery. -I practice daily exercises with the machines at the 040Fit gym to recover hand, leg and breathing functions as well as at home. These exercises are supervised and filmed by a personal trainer. Exercises for locomotor recovery, strength recovery and exercises for diaphragm recovery. -I cannot control muscle spasms in my hand and foot, which is why I cannot drive a car safely. -The right leg has uncontrolled muscle spasms and when moving, lack of balance and confidence in the next step. To prevent falls, I permanently use a Walking Stick. -The right hand has muscle spasms and moments of lack of strength, when I drop any object held in my hand. -I can't drive a bike for the same reason. Lack of control and balance. -When I stand for more than 10 minutes it makes me feel uncomfortable and tired and I have to sit down. 3. The diaphragm condition causes me to feel short of breath, and if I sleep on my right side or back, lung spasms occur. I am also trying to recover my respiratory functions through exercise and medication, but it is very difficult because this condition after the stroke was neglected until October 2024. Because in the Netherlands all the doctors and specialists I spoke to said that it is normal to be tired after a stroke even 18 months after the event, I asked for a second and third opinion in Romania from specialized personnel (first at the Physiotherapy Clinic - "KINETOMED" Cluj-Napoca and later at the Pneumology Clinic of the Ludus City Hospital) The result of the X-ray investigations and the Spirometry tests concluded that the Diaphragm only functions partially and that it is deformed - flattened. This required the urgent start of treatment and exercises specific to diaphragmatic disorders in order to quickly resuscitate the functioning of the diaphragm and be able to return to a somewhat normal life. 4. I sleep every night with a mask connected to the CPAP machine because it is believed that the brain is not receiving enough oxygen. 5. I'm on a diet, so from 96 kg in October 2024, I reduced my own weight to 86 kg in March 2025. So I also reduced the pressure on the diaphragm. But I still need to lose weight, until I reach 75 kg. 6. Because Since I fell into the store a short time ago, I consider it necessary to have the following card with me. ![]() ![]() |
